This exclusive member benefit helps practices onboard new employees, develop existing team members and build a strong foundation for those who may pursue certification in the future.
| ABOUT THE COURSE Sharon Carter University’s online, self-paced course provides foundational eye-care training for new and developing staff. Employees do not need to be planning to take the CPO® exam to benefit. For those pursuing certification, the course also provides structured preparation for the American Optometric Association’s Certified Paraoptometric (CPO®) examination. | YOUR OAL MEMBER SAVINGS

OAL sponsorship is available for up to 200 eligible enrollments on a first-come, first-served basis while funding remains available. Practices must enroll participating employees by December 31, 2026. Learners should plan to complete the course in time for the November 2027 testing date.
